Silo - Granulator and Reverb 1.2.0

Unfiltered Audio's Silo is now available on iOS as a Standalone app or AUv3 plugin. Silo offers a comprehensive range of possibilities for sound designers and creators of experimental music genres such as EDM, chill, and ambient.

Combining advanced granular synthesis, audio spatialization, and reverb functionalities, Silo emerges as an indispensable tool for sound designers and musicians across various genres. Within Silo, microscopic granulation is integrated with macroscopic reverb tails to unlock new sonic dimensions within your existing sounds.

The granulator, which constitutes Silo's initial section, disassembles the incoming signal into minute fragments known as "grains." With precise control, these grains are then reconstructed, allowing independent real-time manipulation of speed and pitch.

Furthermore, Silo features a unique spatializer that disperses the grains extensively throughout the stereo field. Offering various motion algorithms like "Moons," "Meteors," and "Biological," the spatializer adds dynamic trajectory to your sound elements, significantly enhancing spatial effects in comparison to conventional auto-panners.

As the signal progresses through Silo's diverse reverb algorithms, ranging from small resonant spaces to colossal reverberant environments like "Bokeh" and "Nebula," each mode can be finely adjusted to suit the character of your sound.

Functioning as an AUv3 plugin, Silo has been rigorously tested for seamless integration with popular platforms such as Garageband, Drambo, AUM, Cubasis, Beatmaker, Nanostudio, apeMatrix, Loopy Pro, and more. Additionally, thanks to its intuitive interface and adaptive resizing capabilities, Silo offers a user-friendly experience on both tablets and smartphones.
